The Communities of Daniel Island

Barfield Park 
Close to Downtown Daniel Island , on the eastern edge of Daniel Island is Barfield Park . The focus of this neighborhood is nature, fully taking advantage of its marsh-side location, with walking/jogging trails that cut through the forest to the Wando River and a picnic gazebo for residents to enjoy.  The extravagant neighborhood swimming pool features marsh and river views.

Center Park 
Center Park lies at the heart of Daniel Island .  This neighborhood mixes single family homes with classic Low Country Architecture and appealing brick townhomes.   In the middle is lovely two-acre park, with lush landscaping and overgrown shade trees, walking paths and two inventive play structures for the kids.  


Cochran Park 
Cochran Park is a gem that offers serene tree-lined streets and superb marsh views. Traditional southern architecture is showcased in its homes.  Many homes feature marsh views.

Codner´s Ferry Park
Codner´s Ferry Park was first neighborhood developed on the Island .  It features traditional architecture, and mature shade trees, with homes situated to take advantage of the marshfront, park or interior views.  In the middle of the neighborhood is a park that is a great place to take a stroll, play with the kids, or walk the dog.  At the edge of the neighborhood is Daniel Island ´s nature preserve, Bellinger Island . The preserve offers residents of Daniel Island a quiet spot to enjoy the nature around them.

  
Daniel Island Park
At the northern end of Daniel Island is Daniel Island Park , or "The Park."  This neighborhood features marsh and creek views, and towering live oak shade trees, and landscape architecture reminiscent of Frederick Law Olmsted.  Step back in time to find this picture perfect neighborhood of the 20´s featuring classic architecture with Low Country flair, but with all the amenities of today.  Homes can be found around parks, open areas of green space, lakes, the marsh, or the golf course.   

Etiwan Park 
Etiwan Park was the second neighborhood to be developed on the island.  Its prime location, near Bishop England High and downtown Daniel Island add to its appeal.  The focal point of the neighborhood is an open 7 acre park across from the school, which is owned and maintained by the City of Charleston . The park features a picnic pavilion, basketball and volleyball court, and plenty of open space to run and play.
